Packaging into a suitable box
I already mentionned that Raspberry PI Zero W has a very convenient form factor allowing to consider a quasi-completed product.
By the end of 2018, I had experimented Sketchup because of my new office layouts I was in charge of. Obviously, I attempted to use the opprotunity of my progress on Sketchup to design a box and experienced 3D printing.
The result was not so bad and clearly suitable to handle a prototype.
Some improvements must be provided, mainly regarding the power supply wiring and the fixing screws. But, the design I’m sharing should be a working base to move further.
This prototype has been printed by the end 2018 (STL files exported) via 3D Hubs (around 28€) with the FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) technology.
